Julie Fisher has served as Executive Director for the NYC Autism Charter School since January 2009. Prior to that she held the Director of Education position at the school beginning in 2006. She received her Master of Social Work degree from New York University and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. While earning her undergraduate degree at Rutgers University, Julie began working with children and adolescents on the autism spectrum and has remained in the field for over 25 years.
Moira Cray has served as Director of Transition and Community Outreach at the NYC Autism Charter School since 2008 and has been involved with the school since 2006. She received her Master of Social Work degree from Fordham University in 2004 and is a board certified behavior analyst. Moira has spent 20 years providing intensive behavioral intervention to children with autism in a variety of settings including homes, community-based specialized schools and regular education classrooms.
Jennifer Connelly is the Head of School at the NYC Autism Charter School Bronx. Jennifer spent the first eight years of her career delivering behavioral intervention to individuals with autism at the NYC Autism Charter School East Harlem. Upon leaving the program as the Director of Education, she went on to work with the DeafBlind population at Perkins School for the Blind and to provide consultation to public school programs designed to support individuals with social and emotional challenges across the South Shore and Islands of Massachusetts. Jennifer continued her relationship with NYC Autism Charter School and the autism community by serving as an Educational Consultant for the school and designing in-home programs for private clients and their families. Jennifer received her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2010 from Caldwell University. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
